In this article we explain how you can purchase Used Goods from your customer. This requires a number of minor settings, which we also explain below.
Creating a Button for the POS
In the left menu, navigate to [Sales Channels] -> [POS Name] -> [POS]. Identify your POS by the cash register icon next to it. Once selected, click on the [POS] option.
On this page, you will find the option to create buttons on your POS. Click on [Buttons].
Go to the [Buttons] tab.
Click on an unassigned button. A new window will open.
Set the button type to [Button Type] -> [Used Goods], choose a color, and set the VAT. This button will be used for purchasing used goods on the POS.
Click the green [Save] button.
Using the [Used Goods] Button on the POS
On the main screen, press the [Used Goods] button.
Fill in the necessary information on the screen that opens. The [Price incl. VAT] includes the VAT set when creating the button and is the amount the customer will receive.
Press [Pay].
You can now give the amount [Cash] back to the customer.
Backoffice Overview
Navigate to the tab with 6 dots at the top right to go to the App Store (located next to your account name).
Search for the app [Used Goods].
Install it if you haven't already.
After installation, open the app.
Here, you will see an overview of all purchased items.
Under the [Actions] header, you have a dropdown menu with options for handling the product, such as:
Process to Sale Product: Converts the purchased item into a normal saleable product.
Go to Purchase Order: Shows all relevant information filled in during the purchase from the customer.
Go to Product: This option is unavailable until the product is processed into a sale product.
Write Off: Use this if the product is no longer in good condition.
