Once the buttons are set up for the POS, they will be visible on the main screen of your POS. Below is explained how to use these buttons and how you can activate, top up, and redeem the gift card.
Buttons on the POS

Activate Gift Card
To activate a gift card, use the [Gift Card] button.
Once you press this, a new window will open on the register.
Here you can manually enter a new card number, but if the card also has a barcode, it can also be scanned here. Then specify the balance that should be set on it and click on [Accept]. The card can then be checked out as a normal product.
This only applies to new gift cards with a unique code that is not yet known in the system. If you have read the barcodes through the Import Gift Cards app, it is no longer necessary to activate the card. You can then proceed to the next step and top up the card.
Top Up Gift Card
To top up a gift card, use the [Top Up] button. Once you press this, a new window will open on the register.
Manually or with the scanner (if the card has a barcode), you can enter the gift card. Specify the desired amount you want to put on the card, or want to add to the current value, and then click on [Accept]. The gift card with balance will now appear on the register, and can be checked out as a normal product.
Use Gift Card
The gift card can be used very easily to pay. First enter the products that the customer wants to buy. Press pay and select [Gift Card] from the payment methods on the next screen. Once you press this, the register will open a new window where you must scan your gift card or enter it manually.
Note! Do not forget to enter the PIN code of the gift card if it is present on the card. As with the VVV cards
You will then see directly how much balance is on the card. Then press [Confirm] and then on pay. The amount will be automatically deducted from the gift card. If this is not the maximum amount of the card, the rest will just remain on it.
