How do I pair an A920/A77 mobile terminal? (Long version)

You've opened a pop-up store, you're attending a trade show, or you're at the market. With StoreKeeper and a mobile terminal, you can accept payments anywhere. But how?

If you want to link the terminal to a new sales channel, you first need to follow the steps outlined in the following article. How do I create a new sales channel?

We'll start the installation on the mobile terminal.

  • Turn on the terminal. (Press and hold the button on the side of the terminal until the screen lights up).

  • Place your finger on the top of the screen and swipe down in one motion across the screen. A menu will appear. Repeat this motion to enlarge the menu.

  • Click on the Wi-Fi icon and connect to your network.

  • Click on the circle at the bottom of the screen to return to the 'basic screen'.

  • Open the 'Service app' and then click on 'Terminal'.

  • Note the IP address of the terminal, you will need this for the next steps.

Go to the back office where you want to install the mobile terminal.

  • Open the 'CCV payment terminals app'.

  • Click on 'New terminal' in the top right corner.

  • Fill in the terminal name. This is the name you will use to find the terminal in the list later.

  • In the 'Local IP' field, enter the IP address of the mobile terminal that you just noted.

  • In the 'Location' field, enter, for example, 'Pop-Up store' or 'Market'.

  • In the 'Serial number' field, enter the serial number. You can find this on the bottom of the terminal.

  • Click on 'Save'.

The last step is performed on the cash register.

  • Go to the settings of the cash register. (Gear icon)

  • Select the terminal name that you just set up under 'select a payment terminal'.

  • Start a pin transaction. The mobile terminal will automatically open the correct app during a payment.

Occasionally, a transaction may get 'stuck' in the terminal. This article explains how to resolve this.
