Return PIN transactions are being aborted, how can that happen?

If you are unable to successfully complete a return PIN transaction, it could have several causes:

  1. Return PIN not activated: Contact us for options.

  2. Attempting contactless return PIN: Return PIN requires inserting the consumer's card into the terminal and pressing 'OK' to confirm. Contactless return PIN is not supported.

  3. Incorrect card type: Return PIN is only supported on Dutch Maestro and vPAY cards.

  4. Insufficient balance: Ensure there's enough balance on your intermediary account to process the refund. Contact us to set up a deposit if needed.
